Meet The Team

  • Cristina Armenta

    Occupational Therapist

Cristina is a pediatric occupational therapist who has been working with children and families for over five years. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Dominican University of California. Cristina is especially passionate about supporting preschool-aged children during the early years of development and has experience working with children and young adults from infancy through age 22. With a background in school-based practice, she focuses on helping children build the skills needed for participation, independence, and confidence across school and daily environments. She cares deeply about equitable access and inclusion, believing that thoughtful supports and collaborative problem-solving create opportunities for every child to learn, play, and thrive.

Her experience spans school-based services, early intervention, home-based therapy, and private practice settings, shaping her warm, responsive, and relationship-centered approach to care. She prioritizes building trust with children and caregivers while supporting families in developing practical, strengths-based strategies that can be integrated into daily routines. She believes meaningful participation in everyday activities is both the goal and the pathway of therapy, using play and daily routines to support growth, confidence, and independence.

Outside of work, Cristina enjoys exploring local antique shops and events, cooking new recipes, listening to music (and the occasional karaoke night), and spending time with her husband and their dog, Buster.

  • Amy Moran

    Occupational Therapist | Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Amy is a pediatric occupational therapist inspired by the magic of children. She believes in nurturing children and creating a safe environment to help their independence and development blossom. With over 15 years of experience and both an undergraduate and master's degree in occupational therapy from Dominican University of California, she specializes in the development of infants through school-aged children.

She has experience in various settings, including early intervention, home-based therapy, community-based programs, schools, and private practice. Amy believes in building trust and rapport alongside collaboration. When she's not working, she enjoys live music, soaking up the sunshine, and playing with flowers. She also loves spending quality time with her son and her beloved fur baby, Ollie—although she admits she also spends a great deal of time thinking about what she's going to make for dinner.

  • Justine Carandang

    Occupational Therapist, CEO, and Founder

Justine is a pediatric occupational therapist who has been working with children and families for over a decade. She earned her undergraduate degree from Villanova University and her graduate degree from the University of Southern California, where she was awarded several scholarships and grants for her dedication to pediatric care and community service.

Her experience spans early intervention, school-based therapy, outpatient medical therapy, and nature-based summer camps for children with special needs. Justine collaborated with Portland State University to bring adapted rock climbing to kids with special needs, creating a fun, inclusive experience that supported motor skills, confidence, and a sense of adventure. She has also supported campers in Oregon, Washington, and New York, where therapy was woven into nature-based experiences blending outdoor play, sensory exploration, and group connection in calming, natural settings.

Justine has also volunteered in international efforts serving children in Mexico, Ethiopia, Ghana, South Africa, Peru, and Honduras, deepening her appreciation for cross-cultural connection and family-centered care.

She founded North Bay Spot to create a space where therapy feels connected to everyday life, grounded in relationships, play, and collaboration with families. Justine is a nature lover, a foodie, and a big believer in the power of play. Outside of work, she recharges through mountain biking, rock climbing, backpacking, and exploring new places with no set itinerary. At home, she finds joy in tending to her collection of air plants and succulents.
